Restart wherever you are

Dear Leader,

It’s okay if you’re ending this week in a different spot than you anticipated. This week has included many challenges, disruptions, and distractions all around.

You may be in a community that’s been impacted by tragedy or disaster. You may be bearing witness and holding space for loved ones navigating these impacts.

Sometimes, our greatest plans need to be flexed so that we can make space for the unexpected that arises.

Sometimes, we need to extend ourselves compassion and forgiveness so that we can then extend that compassion and forgiveness to others.

Wherever you are, and whatever you’re holding, I send you comfort and a reminder that you are enough. Whatever mistakes you’ve made, whatever marks you’ve missed–they all form a foundation of lessons that strengthen your perspective for the road ahead.

Whether you fully feel it or not, you are resilient because you have lived what you’ve lived. A new beginning is always around the corner.

You, my friend, can always restart wherever you are.
