Faith = Belief + Action

Dear Leader, if you find yourself navigating the impossible, look back at your life.

To get to this point, you have overcome the impossible many, 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 times.

You’ve lived through hard days and loss. You’ve navigated challenging relationships and circumstances. You’ve written and rewritten the plans to adjust course.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 you did these things may not be immediately clear to you. This is because when we navigate the impossible, we find a way forward, often moved by faith in something we cannot yet see.

𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 = 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 + 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. It’s a beautiful combo to call upon when doubt shows up.

Here’s an exercise you can try:

1. Find a few examples in your past where you navigated through something that felt impossible at the time.
2. Ask yourself: What did I 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 at the time that allowed me to take steps forward? (It doesn’t matter if the steps felt messy, or if in retrospect you would’ve done things differently.)
3. Then ask yourself: “Of the 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 I took then, which actions am I most grateful for now?”

Cycle through this exercise a few times, and you will begin to see patterns appear. You’ll get glimpses of the inner strength that show up when the going gets tough.

These patterns and strengths are reflective of 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 within you that operates at a more subconscious level during times of impossibility.

You can actively engage this recipe when you need it. You can also trust that it’ll be there running in the background when you need it.

What supports you when you confront impossibility?
